Germany is becoming a bicycle nation – cities and municipalities are to receive around €1.46 billion for this by 2023. The money is intended primarily for the cycling network, cycle highways, and bicycle parking. Because it is not only cycling that should become safer, but also parking.

A good idea, we think. Because so far, more than 700 bicycles are stolen in Germany every day. For this number to fall, one thing above all is needed: more ways to park bikes securely against theft, for example in lockable bicycle boxes and communal bicycle locking facilities.

In this field we have built up profound expertise over the past years.
